Alberto Artamendi joined Uría Menéndez in February 2014 and was appointed managing associate with effects as of January 2021.
He is a versatile lawyer with more than 10 years of experience advising national and international clients in Spanish tax matters, with special focus on day-to-day tax advice, transfer pricing and in the planning and implementation of national and cross-border restructurings. He also has extensive experience in tax proceedings and tax audits. Besides, he has advised HNWIs in fulfilling their tax obligations, particularly in the fields of Net Wealth Tax and Gift and Inheritance Tax.
Alberto combines his practice with an intense teaching experience in University Abat Oliba, where he is a lecturer on both international tax law and special tax law. This combination of theory and practice is reflected in its advice, which combines the maximum technical precision with a practical approach to solve the client’s problems.
