Profile
Alberto Pérez is managing associate at the Competition and EU law practice area of the Madrid office since 2025. He has worked at the Brussels office of the Firm between 2020 and 2022 and during 2025 he was seconded to the London office of Slaughter and May as visiting lawyer.
His practice focusses on merger control and infringement proceedings for cartel and abuse of dominant position before the Spanish Competition Authority and the European Commission. He advises clients active in various industries, especially pharmaceutical, telecommunications, defense and sports.
He also represents companies before Spanish courts in damages litigation for anticompetitive practices and before the Court of Justice of the European Union in State aid cases.
