Carlos Lora joined Uría Menéndez in 2015 and has been managing associate of the firm since 2023.
He has more than 9 years of experience advising companies, foundations and public sector entities in matters relating to financial supervision and other regulated sectors (energy, postal sector, telecommunications, pharmaceutical sector, transport or housing), public goods or infrastructures, among others.
In addition, Carlos advises several companies in different proceedings before courts and tribunals of the administrative and civil jurisdictions. Finally, Carlos participates in due diligence processes relating to infrastructure, energy and telecommunications projects.
Carlos holds a PhD in Law from the University of Valladolid, having obtained the maximum qualification of outstanding cum laude in the defence of his doctoral thesis, entitled ‘Banking supervision after the entering into force of the Single Supervisory Mechanism and the Single Resolution Mechanism’.
