David Martínez is an associate in the Madrid office of Uría Menendez. He has been a member of the labour practice area since joining the firm in 2008. Since qualifying in 2002, David has focused on labour law.
David specialises in employment and social security law, in particular in litigation and out-of-court settlements. He is frequently asked to advise on matters relating to the transfer of undertakings, subrogations to collective bargaining agreements, subcontracting matters and outsourcing processes (including the unlawful assignment of employees). He also has extensive experience in corporate restructuring, advising clients on matters related to collective redundancies and flexibility measures.
