Eduardo Trigo is a partner of Uría Menéndez based in Madrid. He joined the firm in 1988 after serving as a judge. He headed up the Litigation Practice Area of the Barcelona office from 1997 to 1999.
Eduardo is a very experienced litigation lawyer, having appeared before all types of courts, mostly in complex civil and commercial cases and precautionary measures proceedings, and in international and national arbitral proceedings. He specialises in corporate law (civil and commercial), mainly in the industrial and finance sectors, and specifically in matters involving the retail, cars, steel, construction and food industries.
He also has extensive experience in insolvency law and inheritance law and for many years has issued legal opinions on all of these matters.
He is regarded as a leading lawyer by the main international legal directories, such as Chambers & Partners and European Legal Experts.
