Reyes Bermejo is a lawyer based in both the Madrid and Valencia offices of Uría Menéndez. Reyes began practicing law in 2006 and joined the firm in 2011.
She focuses her practice on data protection, e-commerce and information technology, providing national and multinational companies with day-to-day advice. She was seconded to a client in the media industry to provide advice on these matters.
In the area of personal data protection, she has extensive experience preparing and reviewing group privacy compliance policies and programmes, preparing and reviewing contracts and clauses, and advising on compliance audits and administrative proceedings (e.g. international transfers, whistleblowing programmes, sanction proceedings, database registrations).
In the area of e-commerce practice, she has significant experience advising on profiling activities, direct electronic marketing, e-contracts, as well as preparing online terms and conditions and cookie policies for websites, social media platforms, etc.
Her information technology advice focuses on software, hardware and intellectual property rights. She also has experience in other related matters such as cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and big data.
