Santiago Sainz joined Uría Menéndez in 2012 and he is managing associate of the firm since 2020.
Santiago has over 7 years of experience advising domestic and foreign companies on corporate, acquisition and project finance. Since 2013, Santiago has also participated in several M&A transactions of companies involved in the energy sector as well as in M&A transactions of real estate assets and non-strategic assets of financial institutions, such as non-performing loans.
Santiago has advised both lenders and borrowers on transactions in the infrastructure, maritime and real state sectors. He has also advised creditors and debtors on restructuring the financial indebtedness of some of Spain’s largest groups.
