Academic tradition
From 1985 to 2009, Juan Miguel was a lecturer on commercial law at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (‘ICADE’).
Luis de Carlos lectured on securities law at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid from 1998 until 2013. Presently, he lectures on its Master’s Degree to Access the Legal Profession.
Rafael has lectured on commercial law at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid since 1985, except from 1991 to 1996, when he lectured on international law at Columbia University in New York.
Between 1990 and 1995 Jesús was a lecturer at the State Treasury School (Escuela de la Hacienda Pública).
Between 1988 and 2000, Salvador lectured on corporate and commercial law at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid. Between 2000 and 2008, he lectured on the master’s degree offered by the Madrid Bar Association, and since 2007 he has lectured on capital markets law on the LL.M. offered by the Instituto de Empresa.
Since 2005, Jorge has been associate lecturer in commercial law at the Universidad Cardenal Herrera in Valencia, where he lectured in international financial law and EU commercial law from 1999 until 2004. Previously, he was an assistant law lecturer at the College of Europe in Bruges and associate lecturer in international financial law at the Universidad de Valencia. Jorge has also lectured on institutional and constitutional law and procedures of the European Communities at King’s College in London.
Jesús lectures on constitutional law and at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. In 2005 he participated in the series of lectures held at the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Spanish Constitutional Court.
Juan Francisco lectures on corporate contracting on the Master's Degree in Business Law at the Universidad Nebrissensis and on corporate law at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid. He is also a lecturer on the Master's Degree in Business Law at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid.
Christian has been a lecturer on the Master’s Degree to Access the Legal Profession at the Universidad de Navarra since 2012.
He has been a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Company Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid since 2006.
He lectured at the Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao in 2000 and 2001.
He lectured on commercial law at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid in 1998.
Since 1987, Eduardo has lectured on several master’s degrees on corporate law at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Universidad de Barcelona, Universidad Internacional de Cataluña and ESADE.
Eduardo currently lectures on corporate law and mergers and acquisitions in ESADE Law School’s Master’s Degree in Legal Practice and its Master’s Degree in International Business Law. He also lectures on corporate acquisitions and structural changes to companies in Universitat Pompeu Fabra’s Master’s Degree in Professional Legal Practice.
Ramiro was an assistant commercial law lecturer at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas in Madrid between 1990 and 1997 and from 2001 to 2005.
Carlos currently teaches in IESE Business School and has been a law lecturer at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE), Centro de Estudios Universitarios (CEU) and the Instituto de Empresa. Since 2009 he lectures on M&A on the master’s degree programme at the Universidad de Navarra. He is also a regular speaker and commentator at law seminars and conferences on his field of expertise.
Since 1987 Arantza has been an assistant lecturer in the civil law department of the Universidad de Deusto in Bilbao.
Rafael teaches a practicum course on the law degree programme at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas, ICADE, and is also a commercial law lecturer on the programme for European lawyers at the Centro de Estudios Universitarios (CEU) in Madrid.
Since 1988 Carlos has been a civil law lecturer and since 1997 he has also lectured on environmental law at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE).
Javier has lectured on commercial law at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra (1991-2014). He also lectures on project finance, banking and finance in several master’s degrees organised by various universities and the Barcelona Bar Association.
David has taught commercial law at several seminars organised by the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, ICADE, Madrid, and at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid on the Master's Degree in Business Legal Advice. David currently lectures on banking and capital markets at CUNEF.
Rafael has lectured on tax law at the Universidad Antonio de Nebrija and is currently a lecturer at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid.
Edurne has taught European law at various universities and professional institutions in Spain and abroad.
Carlos is regularly invited to lecture on maritime law by various organisations and institutions (IEEM, COMME, IME, Escuela de Administración Marítima del Gobierno Vasco).
He has lectured on the Master's Degree in Maritime Law and International Business at the Centro de Estudios Marítimos del Atlántico- Universidad de Derecho de Las Palmas and at the Instituto Universitario de Estudios Marítimos - Universidad de La Coruña.
Tomás lectures on maritime law in various master’s degree programmes organised by the Spanish Maritime Institute and IPEC (Valencia) in conjunction with the University of ICADE (Madrid), the European Institute of Maritime Law (Gijón) and the Facultad Náutica (Barcelona).
Luis has lectured on international taxation on the master’s degree programme at the Universidad Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, and on the master’s degree programme on tax advice and management at ESADE, part of the Universidad Ramón Llull, Barcelona.
Fernando lectured on corporate law at the Universidad de Alcalá de Henares in Madrid between 1992 and 2001 and participates regularly as a lecturer in postgraduate programs at the Instituto de Empresa, ICADE and Madrid Bar Association.
Gabriel is a lecturer on postgraduate courses at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas de Madrid, the Fundación Carolina and Madrid Bar Association. He is director and lecturer on specialised courses at the Instituto de Empresa.
Agustín González is a lecturer on Intellectual Property Law at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid and the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid.
Luis has been assistant lecturer at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) and at the Universidad San Pablo CEU in Madrid. He has also lectured on postgraduate courses at those universities and at the Fundación Carolina.

Since September 2002 Daniel has lectured on civil law at the Universidad Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona.
He has lectured at the Spanish Institute of Fiscal Studies and ESADE in Barcelona.
Mario was an assistant labour law lecturer at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid for several years. He currently lectures at the Instituto de Empresa (IE) in Madrid and on the Master’s Degree to Access the Legal Profession at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE).
Juan Antonio has been a law lecturer in the International Law and Economics Department of the University of Barcelona. He is also a member of the University’s Consolidated Research Group on International Law.
Jaime regularly participates as a speaker at law seminars and conferences relating to his fields of expertise (commercial and banking law, finance and M&A, commercial contracts) at the Universidad San Pablo CEU - Instituto de Estudios Europeos, Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid.
Juan Antonio is an environmental law lecturer at the Universidad Abat Oliba-CEU and regularly participates as a speaker at legal seminars and conferences related to his professional practice in the Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Universitat Rovira i Virgili, Universitat Ramón Llull and Barcelona Bar Association, among others.
Since September 2012, Mariano has been a lecturer on administrative law at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE). He previously lectured at the Universidad de Valladolid and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos (Madrid).
Eva lectures on legal practice at the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid. She is also a speaker on master’s degree programmes at the Universidad San Pablo and at the Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles in Madrid.
Javier has lectured on company law and the management of law firms at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas. He has been a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in International Business Law since (2002-2016) and the Executive Master’s Degree in International Business Law (2009-2016), both organised by the Universidad San Pablo C.E.U., Instituto de Estudios Europeos) since 2009. He has also been a lecturer on the Master’s Degree to Access the Legal Profession organised by the Universidad San Pablo C.E.U. He was also a lecturer on the Master’s Degree in Company Law at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas between 2006 and 2009. Javier regularly participates as a speaker in seminars and conferences related to his area of expertise.
Jaime has been a lecturer on criminal law at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid since 1999.
Since 2011 David has lectured on civil law at the Universidad de Deusto. He also lectures on commercial law and introduction to law courses at the Universidad de Deusto and Deusto Business School, respectively.
Since 2009 Patricia has been responsible, as academic director, for the design and development of the Master’s Degree in International Legal Practice at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE), where she also lectures on competition law.
Patricia has also been a regular lecturer on EU Law on master’s and postgraduate degree courses organised by the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, Universidad Pontificia Comillas (ICADE), Universidad Complutense de Madrid and Instituto de Empresa.
Gloria has been a lecturer on tax law at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas – ICADE since 2009, and has also lectured on several post-graduate programmes at the Centro de Estudios Universitarios and the Instituto de Empresa.
She frequently speaks at courses, seminars and conferences on tax law.
Carlos lectures on international taxation in the Master’s Degree on Tax Management at ESADE (since 2013). He also lectures on international business law and taxation on the Executive MBA at ESADE (since 2011).
Jose Alberto is currently an associate professor of Administrative Law at the University of Barcelona, in addition to a lecturer at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya since 2009, where he has lectured on administrative law and on the Master’s Degree to Access the Legal Profession.
He also teaches on the Master’s Degrees to Access the Legal Profession organised by the Universidad de Barcelona and the Universidad Internacional de Cataluña.
Manuel currently teaches on the Master’s Degree for Access to the Legal Profession at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos-Madrid Bar Association. He has also lectured on administrative law at the Universidad Europea of Madrid.
He also participates regularly as a speaker at seminars and conferences on subjects relating to his field of expertise.
Noemí is an associate lecturer on administrative law at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.
Raúl lectures on labour law at the Universidad Cardenal Herrera (UCHCEU) on the Law Degree and the Master’s Degree to Access the Legal Profession.
Chaired professor of civil law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from October 1986 until November 2015 and since October 2016 to the present.
Chaired professor of civil law at the Universidad de Cantabria and the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid from October 1986 to November 2015.
Rodrigo was a commercial law lecturer at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid from 1991 to 1997.
David lectures at the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE) on its Sports Law Master’s Degree programme.
Since 2017 David has lectured on civil law at the CUNEF.
On the academic front, Jon lecture on civil law at the Universidad de Deusto.
Since 2009 he has also lectured on corporate restructuring as part of the Master’s Degree in Business Law offered by the Universidad de Deusto.
Since 2015 Ángela has lectured on the Master’s Degree to Access the Legal Profession (with a specialisation in labour law) offered by ESADE Business and Law School.
Since 2016 she has also lectured on the Master’s Degree to Access the Legal Profession of the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía (ISDE).
Carles is a civil law lecturer at the School of Law of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. He also lectures on the Master’s Degree in Information and Communication Technologies, Social Networks and Intellectual Property Law at ESADE Business School, and on the Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property and New Technologies Law at the School of Law of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
Ignacio has taught on the Master’s Degree in Energy Finance offered by the Club Español de la Energía since 2015.
José-Félix has taught on the Universidad San Pablo CEU’s Master’s Degree to Access the Legal Profession since 2014, and the Universidad de Navarra’s Master’s Degree to Access the Legal Profession and Master’s Degree on Commercial Law since 2014.
José-Félix is also a regular speaker at seminars pertaining to his area of practice.
Since 2016 she teaches on the joint venture agreement in the Master’s Degree in International Business at the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM).
Juan Pablo currently teaches Labour Law at the Universidad CEU San Pablo.
Over the years, Fernando has taught law at various universities in Spain (including ICADE, Álcala de Henares and Menéndez Pelayo). He is presently a professor of the Department of Private, Social and Economic Law of the Law School of the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
Carlos was a lecturer on civil litigation and criminal law at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid between 1985 and 1991.
Alberto was a commercial law lecturer at the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas (ICADE) in Madrid from 1990 to 1992.
From 1994 to 1996 he was a commercial law lecturer at the Universitat Abat Oliva in Barcelona.
At present he is an honorary collaborating professor of the Department of Mercantile Law at the Universidad Complutense of Madrid
